How fast can a session actually start?
The earliest start is about 30 minutes after you book, and requests can go out any time. Most requests are claimed within minutes — if no tutor accepts before your time windows pass (or within 6 hours), the request expires and the hold on your card is released in full.
When am I charged?
Never at booking. The session price is held on your card when you submit a request and captured only when the session ends. Banks can take a few days to show a released hold.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Cancel 2 or more hours before the start and 50% is charged. Under 2 hours, or a no-show, is charged in full. If the tutor cancels or doesn’t show, you pay nothing and we re-match you when your times allow.
Who are the tutors?
Referred, interviewed, background-attested, and live-auditioned before approval. Every session is recorded and kept for 90 days.
What’s in the practice packet?
What you covered, the formulas and strategies that matter, and additional practice problems the tutor didn’t reach — every problem with a complete worked solution. It arrives by email after the session.
Can my child use Cramr on their own?
Students in grade 8 and up can hold their own account. For grade 7 and below, a parent or guardian creates the account — that’s also the only step a guardian ever has to do.
Do sessions run longer than an hour?
If the tutor has the time, they can add 10 minutes at a stretch at the end — free, as many times as their schedule allows.
